Clean Sweet Potato Fries!

I have to admit, I’ve been munching on frites with practically every meal this week! My gosh the French really know what they’re doing when it comes to potatoes. So in keeping with theme, I present to you this super easy recipe for clean sweet potato frites! They’re sweet, salty, and have just the right amount of kick!

Hope you like them! πŸ™‚

4 sweet potato
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp chipotle chile powder
1 tsp red pepper (cayenne)
1 tsp garlic powder

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. In small bowl, combine spices and olive oil
  3. Scrub potatoes and remove any blemishes
  4. Cut each potato lengthwise into 1/2-inch slices. Stack 2 slices together and cut each into 1/2-inch strips
  5. In large bowl, toss potato strips with spice mixture until evenly coated
  6. Spread potatoes on a large parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping potatoes over halfway through baking time, until lightly browned
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with salt, and ENJOY!!! πŸ™‚
